Dear Editor, I have happy memories of Bobby Robson.
It was Boxing Day, either 1958 or 1959, and Baggies were at home to Burnley.
Baggies won 5-1 and Robson got four of the goals. Derek Kevan scored the other Albion goal.
Ray Pilkington got the Burnley goal.
Bobby Robson was one of the best players that West Bromwich Albion ever had.
When he went on to become England manager I personally think he was the best manager England ever had.
It’s a sad loss to the game.
