A cyclist is in hospital after suffering several injuries in a collision with a car in Smethwick.
The incident happened at Tollhouse Way in Smethwick shortly before 10pm on Tuesday.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "The cyclist, a man in his 40s, was treated at the scene for arm, leg, pelvic and serious facial injuries.
"He was fully immobilised before being taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for further assessment and treatment.
