Mark Cooper intends to lead by example on the pitch, as well as off it, to revitalise Tamworth's relegation fight.

The Lambs player-manager will make his comeback after a seven-week lay-off when the Nationwide Conference basement side tackle Exeter City at the Lamb tonight (7.45).

Cooper has missed the last eight games with a dislocated shoulder but with Adie Smith, Alan Neilson and Dave Bampton joining the alreadysidelined Matty Williams, Tommy Johnson, and Michael Touhy on the treatment table the midfielder will play.

The biggest concern for the Lambs, who are three points from safety, is to find the most threatening attack while Johnson (hamstring) and Williams (fractured foot) remain a week from a return. Carl Heggs leads the line tonight with either Danny Davidson, on-loan Coventry City youngster Craig Reid or fit-again Bob Taylor as his partner.

Mark Yates will have little hesitation in issuing a 'same again' message to his Kidderminster Harriers side for their home game with FA Trophy finalists Grays Athletic (7.45).

The Harriers manager has urged his unchanged side to build on their excellent weekend win at promotion-chasing Hereford and avenge a Trophy defeat to the Essex visitors.

After a crushing defeat in the last home game to Alder-shot, Yates has also told the players that they owe the Aggborough fans a victory.

"The performance at Hereford was more like what I expect and I just hope we can banish the Aldershot game as a one-off," he said.

Tim Nicholls and Steve Frost are set to earn recalls to help Stourbridge reach the Birmingham Senior Cup final for the first time in 30 years tonight.

Manager Gary Hackett, however, will await a fitness test on midfielder Leon Broadhurst (hamstring) before naming his side to face Moor Green at Amblecote.

The title-chasing Midland Alliance side are set to complete the signing of Tipton Town midfielder Scott Stevenson but he will not be eligible tonight.

Nationwide North high-fliers Moors will be forced to leave recent recruits Dale Anderson and Jason Moore on the sidelines.

Anderson, on loan from Burton Albion, and fellow striker Moore, from Bedworth United, are cup-tied but Moors have an otherwise fully-fit squad. Guy Sanders, Ben Petty and Dave Bridgwater all come into contention
