Lancashire comedian Peter Kay is bringing his most recent show to Birmingham for three nights - but it won't be until 2011.

After selling out a record breaking run of 20 nights in Manchester, and due to the public demand, the ‘Tour That Doesn't Tour Tour’ will go out across the UK, including a spell at the National Indoor Arena.  And even though the show won't arrive in Birmingham for another 16 months, tickets go on sale this week.

It will be Kay's first national tour in seven years, since his ‘Mum Wants A Bungalow Tour’.

Kay, who is currently riding high at the top of the British charts with his animated all star band song for Children In Need, said: "I'm delighted to be going back on tour and have been completely overwhelmed with the demand for tickets.

"It's going to be a great tour and I can't wait to get back on nights again."

Tickets for the tour, which starts in November 2010, will be available to buy from 11am Friday morning, with his 2011 dates at Birmingham NIA being April 8, 9 and 10.
