Police have named an 83-year-old pedestrian who died after she was in collision with a car near Walsall.

Police have named an 83-year-old pedestrian who died after she was in collision with a car near Walsall.

Joanne Dyas, from Cheslyn Hay, was struck by a Peugeot 106 as she walked in Coppice Lane.

She was taken to Walsall Manor Hospital after the accident where she died later of her injuries. Police appealed for witnesses to come forward.
