The treasurer of a church died after falling from its tower, it was revealed yesterday.
Police and paramedics were called to St Giles' Church in Whittington, Staffordshire, last Thursday after workmen discovered the body of Rebecca Wigley.
The 57-year-old had been treasurer for the church for more than 15 years, and the vicar of Whittington said the community was in a state of shock.
