The 77th annual Warwickshire closed tournament at St Augustines Sports Club in Coventry provided an outstanding debut for Coventry's 15 - year- old, Fontaine Chapman.

Warwickshire captain, Chris Roe, collected two more double titles. He won the men's doubles with Carl Goode for a fourth consecutive year after thrashing Mark Poulsen and Steve Adams 15-2, 15-6.
