More than a dozen people were being treated in hospital after a bus crashed into a house in Birmingham.
The single-decker bus ploughed into a line of cars before hitting the two-storey house in Nursery Road, Lozells, at about 5pm on Thursday, West Midlands Ambulance Service said.
A total of 15 people were taken to hospital, including four children, the female bus driver and the elderly male occupant of the house, who was not injured by the crash but suffered a flare-up of an existing medical condition.
None of the injured is believed to be seriously hurt, with the majority suffering cuts and bruises. Six ambulances were sent to the scene, along with two specialist paramedic units.
Of the 15 casualties, 11 were bus passengers and four were in the house. Specialist fire and rescue crews searched through the debris of the crash to make sure no-one was trapped under rubble. Structural engineers have been called in to assess the situation.
