Burnley manager Steve Cotterill has completed the #175,000 signing of West Brom midfielder James O'Connor.
The 25-year-old had a successful three-month spell on-loan with the Clarets earlier this season and has signed a three-year deal with the Turf Moor club.
Midfielder Richard Chaplow moved in the opposite direction in a #1.5million deal in January and Cotterill said: "It's good to have him (O'Connor) back.
"He'll be a popular player with the supporters because they saw what he gave us in his short spell earlier in the season.
"We're delighted he has now signed and the fans will be pleased that they can watch him a little longer.
"He's delighted to be back too so it's been a good move all round."
