Police in Warwickshire have praised the behaviour of the 30,000 bikers who attended the 19th annual Bulldog Bash at the weekend.

They said the vast majority of riding during the bash, at Long Marston Airfield, Stratford-upon-Avon, was exemplary and only a small number of crimes were reported.

Two Harley Davidson motorcycles were stolen on Saturday, there were 30 reports of theft from tents and one handbag stolen from inside a dance tent.

Five people were arrested in total, for driving while disqualified, driving over the alcohol limit, stealing a car, possession of heroin for personal use and possession of cannabis for personal use.

One person fractured his leg when he fell off his motorbike in the car park and there were two further crashes. The three-day show, which finished on Sunday, is the biggest of its type in Europe.
