Birmingham City manager Steve Bruce says he is thinking about recruiting another coach this summer to bolster his backroom staff.
Bruce has been impressed with the work of former Coventry City manager Eric Black since he replaced Mark Bowen last year.
But Bruce also said he is considering hiring another coach as well to freshen up training and help get the best out of his players.
He said: "Eric has taken to his task magnificently, he is an excellent coach and well respected by anyone who comes across him.
"I know for a fact he has had a couple of job offers since joining us to go on his own but he point-blank refused them because he wanted to stay here and be a part of things.
"I was delighted about that and Eric has made a big impact on us, but when I see the staffing other Premier League teams have got, it is one area I am looking at.
"One thing I'm trying to do is make us bigger and better, to make us progress, and maybe adding to the coaching staff is part of that."
