Broadway's men's side continue their impressive form in Division One of The Birmingham League after recording their fourth consecutive win.

The 9-0 whitewash over Solihull & Shirley was thanks to the unbeaten displays by Simon Goodwin with Rupert Sterling, Trevor Kernick with Leroy Campbell and Steve Pemberton with Handel Suryaputra.

The SGN combination of Sally Bangay and Kirsty O'Shaunessey took the match honours in a 4-2 victory over Solihull & Shirley in the top ladies clash.

Solihull's second mixed side won a narrow 5-4 win over Lighthall in Division Two with Andy Pattie and Carol Moran completed an undefeated performance to secure the win.

Warwickshire's second and third sides returned from Nottinghamshire with one win and one defeat in the latest round of Inter-County matches.

The second side were on the receiving end of a 13-2 defeat to Nottingham's first team but the thirds continue their excellent form with a 12-3 triumph over the fourths.

Joanne Homan with Tracy Robbins won the only two games after winning both ladies doubles against the strong Nottingham side and puts their promotion prospects on ice.

Sebastion Schulz, aged 23, had an eventful debut for the thirds after he won all four matches. He beat Nasser Khan 15/4, 15/3 in his singles, won both men's doubles with Sam Barber and mixed doubles with Bethany Wong.

Birmingham University's Alice Walters also completed a clean sweep of four wins. She beat Kerry Mooney 11/0, 11/2 in her singles, won both ladies doubles with Sue Lee and mixed with Tim Summerfield.

Warwickshire's over 40, 50 and 55s were involved in the Midland Yehlex Inter-Counties tournament at Walsall Sports Centre.

All three age categories finished in third place.
