Stratford Town manager Ian Britton has stepped down after a year in charge of the Midland Alliance club following Saturday's 1-1 draw at Coalville Town.

The former Kidderminster Harriers manager, has been thinking over his future for a few months. "My work commitments have gone up tenfold," he said. "I can't put in the effort and time that a manager's job requires."

Stratford had led at halftime through Craig Pountney but Lee McGlinchey equalised.

Romulus substitute Melvyn Gourlay scored the winner in a 3-2 scoreline at Studley. He pounced midway through the second half after Tyrone Fagan had equalised.

Second-half goals by Tim Gould and Kevin Charley earned Boldmere St Michaels a 2-0 win at Stourbridge, who had Matt Webb sent off, while Jason Barton scoreed an 80thminute goal in Oldbury United's 2-1 reverse at Biddulph Victoria.

Leamington forced a goalless draw at Loughborough while Cradley Town lost 2-0 at home to Quorn.
