A two-year-old is in a critical condition after being in collision with a car in the Stourbridge area.
The crash happened at about 2.25pm on Tuesday in Duncombe Street, Wollaston.
The doctor on board the air ambulance anaesthetised the youngster at the scene before he was airlifted to Birmingham Children's Hospital.
Due to the serious nature of the boy's injuries, the helicopter landed on the road outside the hospital grounds.
