Police are investigating the discovery of a body in woodland in Worcestershire.

Detectives are treating the death as unexplained but have not revealed whether the body - found in Lower Bentley Lane, in Lower Bentley, near Redditch - is that of a man or woman.

It is suspected the body, which was discovered by a local gamekeeper, may have lain undiscovered in the undergrowth for some time.

Chief Inspector Stacey Williamson, of West Mercia Police, said: "It's being treated as an unexplained death at present."
