Property consultancy BNP Paribas Real Estate will be raising money for the Alzheimer's Society when it tackles the Morrison's Great Birmingham 10k next month.
The firm has entered a team in the Business Challenge while graduate surveyor Caroline Saxon is competing in the 10k as part of a series of half and full marathons she will run this year.
Team organiser Leigh Jenner said: "This event has a very broad spectrum of participants. In addition to Caroline, some of our team have never run before and are seeing this as a challenge to help them get fit.
"We hope to encourage property professionals to take part in this event as it raises much needed funds for a worthwhile cause."
The Great Birmingham 10k takes place on May 3 and is being supported by the Birmingham Post .
Any size of company can take part in the Business Challenge and enter male, female or mixed teams which must have a minimum of two men and two women.
Teams must have four to eight runners but a company can enter as many teams as it wishes. All participants must be 16 years of age or over on race day.
