Birmingham will attempt to get their Championship campaign back on track tomorrow as they face Derby at Pride Park.

Steve Bruce’s men swept to the top of the table when they defeated QPR in September but they have not won in the league since, recording two draws and three defeats in their last five games.

It has put pressure on Bruce after the Blues boss was tipped to guide the club back to Premiership following relegation last season season, but the former Manchester United defender has vowed to stay on.

The midweek defeat to Norwich was described by Bruce as "shocking", and he will be looking for an improvement when they face the Rams.

"I’ve had a few bad nights and that was certainly one of the worst ones, simply for the way that we played," said Bruce.

"We played with a fear. We needed a few people to stand up and be counted but as a team performance it was shocking."
