Police are appealing for witnesses after a Birmingham teenager was fatally stabbed yesterday.
A 16-year-old boy was stabbed in the leg during an incident in Tern Grove, Hawkesley, just before 3.30pm. Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene and the teenager, who has not been named, was taken to Selly Oak Hospital, where he died just before 10.30pm.
Detectives are still questioning a 29-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of murder. Anyone with information is urged to call CID at Kings Heath police station on 0845 113 5000 or crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
