A 22-year-old man has died after being stabbed in the neck in Birmingham, police said.
The man was rushed to hospital following the stabbing in Quinton shortly before 3pm on Wednesday, West Midlands Police said. He was later pronounced dead.
A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
A police spokesman said: "Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a fatal stabbing in Quinton this afternoon.
"The incident occurred just before 2.50pm today in Ely Grove, Quinton, Birmingham.
"A man, aged 22, received a stab wound to his neck. He was taken to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
"He is not being named at this stage.
"A man, aged 20, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody helping police with their inquiries."
