A family in Birmingham had their home burgled while they were visiting their seriously ill daughter in hospital.
Officers said the family, whose daughter has cancer, are desperate to have their possessions returned.
The property on Grestone Avenue in Handsworth Wood was broken into on January 8 and had jewellery, computer equipment, mobile phones and a TV stolen.
Detective Constable Asam Shazad is investigating the burglary, and said: "The family is obviously going through a very difficult time with their daughter currently receiving treatment for cancer, and this has been hugely upsetting for them.
"They are desperate for the return of their possessions and want the people responsible caught."
