BBC presenter Ashley Blake denied wounding a teenager outside his former restaurant.
The 39-year-old presenter, who appeared at Birmingham Crown Court, also denied affray and perverting the course of justice.
It follows an alleged incident outside The Place 2 B restaurant in Chester Road, New Oscott, Sutton Coldfield, when a 17-year-old received serious facial injuries in January this year.
Blake yesterday appeared in court alongside a second man, Steven Sproule, aged 38, of Booths Farm Road, Great Barr. Sproule pleaded not guilty to a charge of assault, occasioning actual bodily harm and affray. Blake and Sproule were granted unconditional bail and ordered to appear at Birmingham Crown Court for a trial at a date to be arranged.
