Dear Sir, Congratulations to Peter Duxbury who has been appointed as Director of Children’s Services.

Why though describe Peter as an “ex social worker”?

Peter’s very best chance of making a success of what must be one of the most challenging and important social work roles in Europe will depend on him remembering the skills, values and principles of his profession – not forgetting them.
