One of the finest fisheries in the Midlands has been put up for sale for £850,000.
Shatterford Lakes near Kidderminster attracts hundreds of anglers each year and has a turnover of £100,000.
The Bridgnorth Road fishery is most famous for its catfish but also has stocks of brown, blue and rainbow trout.
Martin Freeman, of Fenn Wright Fisheries4sale, said: "This fishery of over 18 acres is regarded as one of the premier fisheries for specimen fishing in the West Midlands and renowned throughout the country."
Although it is only ten minutes from Kidderminster, its peaceful views make it a tranquil fishing setting.
The buyer will take control of a growing business with five well-stocked lakes and an office/ shop with twobedroomed flat overhead.
The five lakes are all situated in a natural valley surrounded by woodland and grassland. The majority of the lakes are spring fed and will be stocked with mainly coarse fish.
They differ in their management and stock and each attracts anglers from various ages and potentials. The most popular, Wyre Dell, is about an acre in size, has eight stages and is managed on a catchandrelease basis.
The property also includes 12 viewing tanks and three holding tanks built for the sale of ornamental fish.
Established in 1972, the fishery grew extensively and is now one of the first of its kind in the UK to offer different types of fishing and a wildlife feature.
Families and angling experts from around the country visit Shatterford Lakes all year round.
