A Birmingham couple enjoyed a dream wedding on top of Vienna's famous Riesenrad Big Wheel with former Formula One champion Niki Lauda as best man.
Alex Cooper, aged 30, tied the knot with Jez Kenyon, aged 28, in the Austrian capital at the weekend with ex-F1 driver and multi-millionaire Lauda at their side.
Alex and Jez, from Hall Green, were one of four British couples and one German couple who won the all-expenses-paid wedding in a competition launched by Lauda's airline FlyNiki.
Alex, who wore a traditional white dress, said: "My now mother-in-law actually entered us for the competition.
"We had planned to get married in Austria next year, and so when we found out we had won, we thought why not just bring it forward."
More than 600 couples from across the UK entered the competition. As well as the ceremony on the Riesenrad - made famous in the film The Third Man - the winners were treated to a traditional Viennese reception with waltz lessons, five nights in the Hilton Hotel and limousines to and from the ceremony for parents and a few friends.
