Coventry City manager Micky Adams is looking to his feared frontline to finally click into gear at Burnley tomorrow.

With Stern John and Dele Adebola playing as twin strikers, supported by Gary McSheffrey and Jamie Scowcroft playing out wide, on paper, the Sky Blues look capable of scoring a lot of goals this season.

But, so far, all they have to show for their trouble is Adebola's second- half opening-day equaliser at Norwich.

And, although Adams is aware that he can not unreasonably start expecting a bit more when Coventry finally play a games at home next weekend, he is still after more of an attacking threat from his side's third successive away game at Turf Moor.

"Other managers in this division have looked at my front four and are quite envious," claimed Adams.

"But they haven't shown totally what they're capable of yet.

" There's been a few bright moments in the two games so far, but they have not quite clicked yet, and I'm hoping that will happen at Burnley."

Adams will have to wait on McSheffrey's fitness before he names his team for the Burnley game.

McSheffrey missed training yesterday with a slight groin strain suffered in the 0-0 draw at Millwall on Tuesday night and Coventry are now sweating on his fitness.

Adams is already without Stuart Giddings, who missed most of the preseason build-up after having to undergo knee surgery while Claus Jorgensen and Richard Shaw are both doubtful for tomorrow.
