A main road through Birmingham city centre was gridlocked this morning after an accident in a tunnel.
The northbound side of the Great Charles Street Queensway was closed for nearly 45 minutes after the accident, causing traffic to back up past the Mailbox and towards Bristol Road.
Paradise Circus was also blocked by traffic, stopping cars from getting into the city along Broad Street.
