Investors with teddy bears in need of a wood for their picnics, should go along to an auction in Ombersley on March 8, and buy them a big surprise.

Woodland that was once used for to produce the hardwood for making Harris paintbrushes is up for sale. Kingswood contains is a mix of beech, ash, oak, Spanish chestnut and nothofagus on the land, which covers 22.1 acres.

It is in Stanford Road on the edge of the village of Great Witley in Worcestershire. It has a gate from the road and is fenced all round. A long-established riding path leads through the majority of the woodland.

Kingswood has a guide price of £77,000 and will be sold by auction at 6pm by Andrew Grant at The Crown and Sandys in Ombersley on March 8. For details call 01905 734735.
