The first properties released at CALA Homes’ new Shepherd’s Fold development in the Cotswold village of Mickleton in Gloucestershire will be offered at a reduced price to local people.

Five, two and three-bedroom homes will be available at 70 per cent of the open market value to purchasers who meet the criteria agreed with Cotswold District Council. Currently available under the scheme are plots eight and 20, both end of terrace three-bedroom homes, and plots nine and 10, two two-bedroom cottages in a mews style.

To be considered for the scheme, purchasers must be over 18, have a household income of less than £60,000 per annum, and be purchasing for their sole main residence.

They must come from or have a local connection with Mickleton or the surrounding area which comprises Weston Subedge, Aston Subedge, Ebrington, Chipping Campden, Blockley, Saintbury and Willersley.
