Birmingham company Zircom has cracked its target of increasing revenue by 30 per cent in 2005-2006, through sales and services in the delivery of cabling/wireless solutions for data/voice communication to businesses.

With sales up by 35 per cent and the team expanding by ten per cent over the past 12 months, Zircom is now the fastest growing cabling company in the UK.

This year is already looking prosperous for the Birmingham company, which has a three year plan that aims to sustain the 30 per cent increase in revenue year on year through to 2009, when its hopes to have achieved a revenue target of £10 million plus.

Zircom has invested more than £200,000 in technology, infrastructure and personnel over the last 18 months with the aim of growing the company to meet the demand for their service.

An aggressive PR, marketing and sales strategy has been launched to drive the business forward over the next three years, which the team believes is highly achievable.

"We are now focusing on increasing the company's profile in the industry, identifying key channel partners and educating the market," said Zircom's sales director, Rob Linforth.

"We continuously demonstrate the efficiency and cost savings that can be achieved with Zircom and we believe it is important to deliver quality project management and after sales service. We don't just do the job and walk away, added value is where we gain our competitive advantage."

To boost its growth strategy Zircom last year formed a strategic relationship with Bibby Financial Services.

Zircom's managing director, Graham Granville, said: "Bibby is a flexible company which understands the needs of our business.

"Too many factoring companies were focused on manufacturing and labour supply and would not even talk to us when we were initially seeking a factoring facility.

"Bibby was one of the few that listened and attempted to give us a solution. They have been very flexible and have provided support when we were experiencing difficult times - they have certainly been a key factor in our phenomenal growth in both turnover and profitability."

Commenting on Zircom's achievement, Bibby Financial Services operations director Ted Winterton, said: "We are delighted to be a part of Zircom's success.

"The company is testament to what can be achieved with strong financial foundations in place.

"By employing our invoice finance solution, Zircom are able to unlock funds tied up in unpaid invoices to help keep their cash flow fluid, while also freeing themselves up to concentrate on growing their business by outsourcing their credit control procedures to our team.

"We look forward to continue working with Graham and his team to help them achieve future success."
