A Warwickshire company is using online innovation to help families bring their treasured photo memories to life on the small screen.

B u b b e n h a l l - b a s e d Myphotomemoriesdvd. com has teamed up with experts at Zarr Internet Services to develop a website where people can order DVDs of their cherished pictures set to music and visual effects.

The custom-made DVDs are the brainchild of experienced photographer Lawrence Friel, who along with partner Jeanette,

runs audio-visual company AV Media Projects.

They approached Rugby-based Zarr to help them create a website where people could order their DVDs online.

The My Photo Memories DVD uses the latest technology to bring to life old pictures of milestone events, from birthdays and christenings to graduations and childhood memories. Photos are placed against a musical backdrop and move, pan and zoom across the screen.

Mr Friel said: "Advances in technology have made it possible to do amazing things with old photos, almost bringing them back to life again. I started with a few of my own DVDs and was amazed at people's reactions; they loved seeing old friends and family as large as life on their television screens. Since then we have produced DVDs for many people."

He added: "Our website is an important tool where people can not only view examples of how effective our DVDs can be but can also order online to bring their own special memories to life."

Hannah Reynolds, director of Zarr Internet Services, added: " We are delighted to have worked with myphotomemoriesdvd.com on such a unique project.

"Niche retailers such as myphotomemoriesdvd.com benefit from the tremendous results of trading online and I'm confident the website we have developed will serve to support the company in its future success.
