Xansa - the outsourcing and technology firm which employs about 300 people in the West Midlands in offices in Birmingham, Coventry and Solihull - has won a multi-million mobile work management contract with Northern Ireland Water Service.

An agency within the Department for Regional Development, it has exercised an option to extend the scope of an existing contact and billing implementation contract.

The extension is worth £22 million over a seven year period.

The initial contract was awarded in January to a Xansa led consortium, Crystal Alliance.
