Businesswomen from a Black Country networking group are putting their best feet forward in a ghostly, girls-only midnight walk on Halloween to raise money for Compton Hospice.

Members of the women’s Wings group based in Wolverhampton and Cannock are dusting off their witches costumes to take part in the nine-mile fancy dress walk around the hospice, starting on October 30 and finishing in the early hours of Halloween.

The members of Wings, Women’s Independent Networking Group, will be joining dozens of other female walkers on a 4.5 mile route through the night time streets around the hospice.

Katie Love, major donor and regular fundraiser at Compton Hospice, who will be taking part, said: “We hope to banish the demons from the streets of Wolverhampton with fun, laughter and the most garish costumes possible.

“Any businesses that want to join in please get in touch.”
