Building, heating and plumbing products supplier Wolseley has added to its trophy list again after announcing a £49 million string of acquisitions.
Wolseley, whose UK headquarters is at Leamington Spa, said the new firms would bring around £82 million of additional revenue to the business.
The group, which supplies plumbing, heating and building materials products to contractors, acquired Las Vegas-based plumbing and electrical group of companies Efficient Electric, United Electric, United Plumbing and D.S.I.
Wolseley also purchased Wisconsin-based Davies Water Equipment Company and Chelles Generalist builders merchant, which operates under the trademark "BigMat".
