In conjunction with the competition and prior to the announcement of the winners The Birmingham Post will be running a series of short articles introducing the fast developing conferencing, training and meetings industry.

We will detail recent advancements in the conferencing world and provide a simple guide to making the best of your next conference, meeting or training day from experts within the industry.

With three prizes totalling £6,000 and conferencing packages suitable for up to 50, 12 or 6 people, any size of company can benefit from the state-of-the-art facilities at Maple House.

The various packages on offer also include ample helpings of 'brain food' throughout the day, bottomless servings of coffee and tea and the use of the latest integrated on-site conferencing technology, from data projectors to DVD players.

Competition opens 6am Tuesday May 27 and closes midday Tuesday June 3 2008. Entry is free of charge and via e-newsletter subscription only. Each individual will be entered into the competition once only regardless of how many e-newsletters they subscribe to.

All e-newsletter subscriptions are free. All new subscriptions to the Birmingham Post e-newsletter between the competition opening and closing date will be entered into the competition.

All current e-newsletter subscribers will also be automatically entered into the competition. If you are a current or new subscriber and you do not wish to be entered into the competition please send an email to stop_press@mrn.co.uk with "conference" in the subject line and you will not be included in the prize draw.

All e-newsletter sign ups received after the closing time and date will not be eligible for entry into the competition. Open to UK residents aged 18/over only.

There are three prize packages to give away and 3 winners will be selected. Prizes will be allocated on preference of the 1st selected winner, followed by the 2nd selected winner, and the 3rd selected winner will win the remaining prize package. Should any winner refuse a prize in the first instance, an alternative winner will then be picked at random to receive the remaining prize package.

Each winner will be contacted via email on the afternoon of Tuesday June 3 2008 after the draw has taken place.
* Winners must respond to this email with their name, a contact telephone number and their company name by 5pm Wednesday June 4 2008.
Winners will then be telephoned in order of prize allocation and must be contactable by 5pm Friday June 6 2008. If contact is not obtained by this time the winner may forfeit their prize and an alternative winner may be picked.

Prize packages must be taken by end of December 2008 and are subject to availability at time of booking. Proof of company identity may be required.

Each winner will be invited to the launch of the new conference venue to preview their prize on Wednesday June 11 2008 and must be prepared to take part in subsequent publicity either immediately after the draw has taken place or after they have taken their prize.
