A company dedicated to promoting Warwickshire and Coventry has been revamped to boost its performance.

The not-for-profit operation CV One has restructured its department at 1 Castle Yard in the city to equip it better for promoting regional developments and investments.

CV One has created several new internal roles which will promote Coventry and Warwickshire as the location for business and leisure tourism, city centre events and media campaigns.

Projects under way include the £100 million Belgrade Plaza project in the city centre.

Nicola Leake, head of destination marketing, said: "The whole re-structure has been put in place to centralise departments and ensure we are more productive and effective as we continue to grow."

The company's new look sees Jackie Fallon appointed visitor services manager to oversee CV One's new office at Coventry City's home the Ricoh Arena, as well as the exist-ing Tourist Information Centre in the city centre.

She will be assisted by sales and conferencing executive Lorna Hughes to focus on conferencing and sales and business and leisure tourism.

Penny Tyler is now marketing projects manager responsible for the installation of the destination management online booking system which will allow internet users to book hotels and guest houses via CV One's website.

And Kay Orphan is the new marketing manager and along with marketing executives Jason Smith and Caroline Evans, will be concentrating on marketing Coventry city centre and its events as well as leisure and business tourism. Press and PR manager Mick McLaughlin's role has expanded.

As well as being responsible for CV One's media relations, he will be looking after film location business, press visits, the events portfolio and business and leisure tourism.
