Young people at a local children’s hospice can look forward to a range of fun activities, thanks to support from Western Power Distribution.

The Midland electricity business has donated £3,600 to Acorns Children’s Hospice in Selly Oak for the charity’s Adolescent Programme, which will fund their youth club, magazine and weekend activities for the next year.

Dave Park-Davies, WPD’s distribution manager for Birmingham, said: “I’m delighted that we are supporting such a worthwhile cause. The work that Acorns do for children and their families is fantastic. We’re looking forward to working together and raising more money in the future.”
