From caped crusaders to web wielding crime fighters, colleagues at a leading regional building society became superheroes for the day.

Their mission was to raise funds for Acorns Children’s Hospice, the West Brom’s chosen charity of the year.

Workers at the Society’s West Bromwich headquarters and several branches ditched their usual daywear and transformed into Batman, Spider-man, Wonder Woman and other fictional favourites to raise £300.

Sophie Jones, head of development and performance at the West Brom, said: “We saw colleagues in a whole new light as they entered into the spirit of the day. It was a lot of fun and for a great cause.”
