An award-winning Warwickshire company is using its expertise in web design and IT to help speed up the house buying process.
Rugby-based Zarr Internet Services has developed a dedicated website for a Nuneaton firm to help people move house more quickly. The site - reportsforhomebuyers.couk - has been created for Hawkins Carpenter Surveyors, in Newdegate Street, for both home buyers and surveyors to instantly access surveys in a secure environment.
Solicitors acting on behalf of house buyers can also access information when they have received a password from their clients.
Mike Carpenter, managing partner of Hawkins Carpenter Surveyors, said: "We believe it's an industry first in that it is a dedicated website for house buyers, solicitors and surveyors to access information about surveys at the touch of a button. Feedback so far has been very positive."
Hannah Reynolds, managing director of Zarr Internet Services, said: "As most people are aware, buying a house is often a long, drawn out matter so hopefully the site we have developed will help contribute to speeding up that process."
Zarr Internet Services was set up by Hannah and husband Mark five years ago and specialises in database-driven websites. In its first year it was featured in the BT Vision 100 Index for the top 100 visionary companies in the UK.
