A Warwickshire country pub has received more than 150 job applications for 35 roles.

The Hatton Arms’, previously known as the Waterman, is due to reopen on March 7 with head chef Adian Montague, formerly of Malmaison, creating a menu of British dishes.

Stephen Gormley, Hatton Arms’ general manager, said: “We wanted to create a contemporary and casual dining environment, delivered by a really great team.

“It’s been hard work but it’s definitely paid off and we can’t wait for the locals to come and see it.”
