A major conversion project along one side of a section of Walsall's Bridge Street, to create modern one and two bedroom apartments in the town centre, is nearing completion.
Designed by BBLB architects, Bridge Street Chambers comprises 29 apartments on the upper storeys of Victorian commercial buildings, two of which are Grade II listed.
Located within a designated conservation area, the project has been carried out by Peel Holdings of Manchester.
Some apartments have already been released and are said to be selling strongly.
"The project is nearly complete, with most apartments having been sold to investors," said Laurie Barnett, construction manager for Peel Holdings.
The contractors were Sapcote.
