Midlands advertising agency WAA has appointed a new managing director to continue its rapid growth while the founder concentrates on group strategy and acquisitions.
Jacqui Lennon has been promoted to MD of the Sutton Coldfield-based agency. She will lead a growth policy that has already propelled WAA into the Top 50 of Campaign's Top 300 League.
Founder Andrew Wilson is to become chief executive, and will focus on the group's overall strategy and further acquisitions.
The boardroom is further strengthened with the arrival of new financial director Robin Dudfield, a qualified chartered accountant.
Mr Wilson, who founded WAA 18 years ago, said: "This is far more than just changing job titles.
"The agency has enjoyed unprecedented growth --last year alone, our billings rose by 44 per cent to more than £26 million, making us the only Midland agency in the Top 50.
"We have created a new structure that will help the agency continue to grow and allow me to look at fresh acquisitions and the extension of our services.
"Therefore I am handing over the leadership of our head office to Jacqui. She was brought in five years ago when I started planning our expansion, and she has been key in making WAA one of the country's top agencies."
Jacqui, who moves from client services director to MD, says: "WAA is continuing to forge ahead - last month we leaped 20 places to become 42 nd in Campaign's league of advertising agencies. I am determined to keep that momentum going."
