All six jobs have been saved at a Birmingham electrical installation and maintenance firm after it completed a pre-pack administration.

Tyseley Electrical, based in Garretts Green, was placed into administration by the High Court of Justice on February 9.

However, a new company called Dicecom, in which former Tyseley Electrical director Stephen Henry is a director, has taken over the business, and all six employees will transfer to the new firm.

Insolvency specialists at Leonard Curtis Business Solutions Group had been appointed at the firm that specialises in the installation and maintenance of security systems, with directors Paul Masters and Andrew Poxon were named as joint administrators.

Mr Masters said: “The company entered into discussions with HMRC regarding settlement of these arrears, but agreement regarding an acceptable repayment plan could not be reached.”
