Handmade Burger Co is set to open its second Birmingham operation at the Bullring.

The company, which launched in Brindleyplace and now has outlets across the UK, will be joined in the Bullring’s new Spiceal Street development by Browns Bar and Brasserie.

Established in 1973, Browns offers a range of signature cocktails and classic and modern dishes and the new restaurant will be the first of the brand’s to open in the West Midlands.

Tim Walley, General Manager at Bullring, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome both Browns and Handmade Burger to Spiceal Street for what promises to be a very exciting and unique catering area.

"When we began this development in autumn 2010 we asked our visitors what restaurants they’d like to see and were overwhelmed with the response.

"The need for independent restaurants was recognised and we also received requests for a bar and grill that perhaps wasn’t already in the city, and we’re confident that Browns and Handmade Burger have fulfilled these requests.”

The third restaurant, which will open at Spiceal Street will be announced during the summer.
