Less than three months since the last major letting at CBRE Investors' Quayside development in Broad Street, Birmingham to the Rent Service, joint agents GSD and Colliers CRE have clinched a further two lettings at the 96,000 sq ft, 17-floor office scheme.
Tax specialist, Friend LLP, which took a lease on the 11th floor in the summer, has now expanded its operation to include the entire 12th floor - a further 6,318 sq ft on a 15-year lease at a rental reported to be in excess of £18 per sq ft, together with on site parking.
Siren Online, the operators of top internet d ating site Dating Direct, has taken the eighth floor - 6,318 sq ft a nd eight parking spaces on a ten-year l ease at a figure rumoured to be in the region of £18.50 per sq ft.
Jamie Spires of GSD said: "Now 55 per cent let, Quayside is proving a runaway success for CBRE Investors with new tenants coming on board every few months."
A further 44,000 sq ft remains at a guideline rental of £18.75 per sq ft on flexible leasehold terms.
