Haslimann Taylor managing director Bron Eames is celebrating after being awarded Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).

Ms Eames, who has been at the helm of the Birmingham PR consultancy since 1999, won the award in recognition of outstanding work in public relations and service to the institute.

Haslimann Taylor has grown from having only ten employees to become one of the larger consultancies in the Midlands, employing 30 members of staff and with income now over £1.6 million.

CIPR President Chris Genasi said: ''I am delighted to award Fellowship of the Institute to Bron in recognition of her contribution to the PR industry and the work of the CIPR, and in recognition of her individual achievements.''

Ms Eames was elected Midlands PRCA chairman from 2001-2004 has been a PRCA board member since 2002. She currently sits on the CIPR Midlands committee and holds the position of honorary treasurer.
