Midlands-based business communications specialists Top Banana took on a major production challenge - at Birmingham's IMAX theatre for client Business Post Group.

Thirty six members of the mail and parcel delivery company's staff starred in a series of videos which introduced the new management team, and other key strategic new pieces.

It was projected on to the IMAX theatre's curved, 22-metre high screen to an audience of 400 people.

Business Post Group's marketing manager Bill Wallis said: "Following the recent restructuring and refocus of our business, the executive board wanted to make staff aware of how things have changed for the better.

"We wanted to communicate our objectives to staff in the most engaging way possible and at the same time address any potential questions.

"Top Banana's idea to showcase the video vignettes mixed with live presentations at the IMAX was something unique, much better than watching it on a small TV screen.

"The staff reacted with positive feedback."

Nick Terry, managing partner Broome-based Top Banana, said the business was always looking for venues with a difference to stage events.

"The IMAX theatre proved a great venue to feature Business Post Group's 'big' news.

"Manipulating the image to fill such a large screen was something we have never done before and the curve in the screen made it even more challenging.

"However, the impact was fantastic and really brought the audience alive."
