One of South Staffordshire's largest commercial property facilities has got off to a flying start after signing up its first tenant weeks after coming on to the market.
Toll Point, which comprises 140,000 sq ft of Grade 'A' office and industrial space, has been inundated with enquiries from companies looking to relocate near the M6 Toll Road.
Over 30 businesses - from insurance firms to call centres and value added manufacturers - have all viewed the ambitious development after an aggressive marketing campaign.
Now, one of the prospective purchasers has put pen to paper on a 40,000 sq ft unit to the rear of the site.
David Poyner, director of Poyner Gilbert Properties (PGP), is delighted with the agreement.
"DocUstore, a document a nd records storage specialist, has completed all the paperwork and is already up and running, serving clients from across all areas of the UK," he said.
"Thanks to the logistical benefits of Toll Point and the quality of the accommodation, the company now has the ability to expand in line with customer expectations and has already secured orders from two legal firms to the value of £50,000."
Interest in the development has come from a firm from the south, five blue chip groups and a sporting goods manufacturer.
Mr Poyner is also in advanced negotiations with a call centre operation, which could eventually take up to 60,000 sq ft and create more than 60 jobs.
"I knew it was going to be popular, but never in my wildest dreams did I anticipate a response like we've had." ..SUPL:
