A Midlands tanning salon is launching a bridal spray service to give blushing brides a healthy glow.

The Spray Tan Cubicle, in Worcester, said the new service would mean brides could look their best with a minimum of hassle.

It decided to move into the market after finding more brides were choosing a fake tan as an important preparation.

The Spray Tan Bridal Fitting Service will see brides receive three spray tan fittings in the run up to their wedding.

It also includes training and guidance on body skin care, exfoliation, moisturising and tan touch-ups.

Fittings start at least two to three months before a wedding. They can be held in a salon or in the comfort of the bride’s own home with a mobile therapist. The total service costs from £99 including products, spray tans, and one-to-one advice.

Nicola Matthews, managing director of the Spray Tan Cubicle Company, said: "I am extremely excited about our new service to help brides get their perfect tan for probably one of the biggest days of their lives.

"As well as wedding dress fittings, we will now be advising brides to have a series of spray tan sessions in advance to their wedding.

"Spray tan colours can vary from skin-type to skin-type, and depend on lots of other factors like natural sun, skin acidity, exfoliation and skincare routines. That’s why it’s vital for us to create a personalised plan for brides looking to have a wedding spray tan, including exfoliating, moisturising and timing the spray tan for when the skin is at its most receptive.

"We are constantly researching new services to continue our commitment within the beauty and spray tanning industry."

The company is the creator of Sienna X – one of the leading spray tan brands in the UK.

More than 4,000 Sienna X spray tanning therapists based across England, Scotland and Wales are set to use the new service.
