Six women from Birmingham PR agency Golley Slater will be taking a dip for charity at this year's Midlands Soroptimist Swimathon.

The 'Skinny Dippers' will be attempting to swim a record number of pool lengths in the allotted time frame at Warwick School Sports Swimming Pool for Soroptimist's chosen charities, Macmillan Cancer Support, Myton Hamlet Hospice and the County Air Ambulance.

Team captain Karoline Adamson, senior account manager at Golley Slater, said: "In PR we are used to being thrown in at the deep end, but hope that we will rise to the challenge. We want to raise lots of money for the charities and look forward to having fun in the process."

The team will be taking the plunge at 11am on Sunday 30 September. Anyone interested in supporting the team or making a donation, please contact: 0121 384 9700.
