Birmingham law firm Weightmans has seen its turnover grow by almost a third after a series of takeovers.
Weightmans turned over £77.1 million in the the 2011/2012 financial year, an increase of £19.1 million on the previous year.
The firm grew considerably 12 months ago when it took on teams from Vizards Wyeth in the South East and merged with Mace & Jones in the North West.
Managing partner Patrick Gaul said: “It has been a landmark year for the firm and one in which we have invested considerably so as to enhance our medium to long term prospects. A lot of the work we have done this year will stand us in good stead.
“We wanted to create one firm, we are not quite there yet but we have made a huge amount of progress.
“The turnover figure shows some growth on the revenue produced by the three separate firms and we are now starting to see that working together does indeed make us stronger.”
